Paphos district court on Tuesday remanded a 37 year old woman and her 16 year old son in custody in connection with a police investigation into the theft of a moped, possession of stolen goods and traffic offences.
The woman was stopped as she was riding a moped in Kato Paphos around 4 pm on Monday. Her son was on foot nearby.
She was found to be driving without a licence, without a helmet and under the influence of alcohol while the moped had been reported as stolen.
Both were arrested and appeared in court today where the mother was remanded in custody for one day and her son for two.
