Fire fighters have managed to contain a large fire that broke out a little before 3.00 pm between Moutayiaka and Armenochori, Limassol.
The fire burnt around four hectares of wild vegetation before it was put under control around 5.30 pm.
Nine fire trucks and five water dropping air craft were involved in fighting the fire.
Fire personnel will remain over night to prevent a flare up.
