Intervention by lifeguards proved to be lifesaving when an underage girl fell unconscious in the sea at Flamingo Beach in Larnaca.
The lifeguards jumped into the water and carried the girl on land, where they provided first aid and oxygen as she had absorbed water.
Due to the severity of the incident, an ambulance was called for the girl’s immediate transport to Larnaca General Hospital for further treatment.
