Two women aged 49 and 46 were fined €1,500 each on Tuesday by the Paphos District Court after admitting to flouting the stay-at-home decree, stealing potatoes and illegally possessing property, the CNA reports.

The women, both Georgian nationals, were arrested after two bags of potatoes were found in their possession by a member of Paphos police that they had stolen from a field in Yeroskipou.

Further investigations revealed that the two had stolen potatoes before.
