A two-month-old baby early on Tuesday morning was taken unconscious to Limassol General Hospital by his Syrian parents.
Police said the parents found the unconscious infant in his cot and rushed it to hospital where his death was confirmed.
A post mortem examination will take place later in the day, police also said.
