Presidential elections are to take place on February 5, 2023, and Cypriots residing overseas can cast a vote at available polling stations which can only operate according to interest declaration.

Specifically, polling stations in countries in which the Republic of Cyprus maintains a diplomatic mission will operate when the number of voters who will submit a declaration exceeds fifty (50).

Submission of a declaration began on Monday and the deadline is December 27, 2022, the Interior Ministry also announced on Wednesday.

The runoff will be on Sunday, February 12, the Ministry added before reminding that on Friday, December 23, the decree of the Interior Minister will be issued to announce the elections.

Declaration forms can be obtained in Cypriot embassies and consulates abroad, at local offices of the district administrations, at citizens service centres or online at elections.gov.cy.

The forms can be submitted in print at the above locations or online at aps.elections.moi.gov.cy.
