Monday will be mainly fine as weak low pressure continues to affect the area, although locally at intervals there will be increased cloud.
Temperatures will rise to 17 C inland and on the coasts and around 8 C in the mountains where locally there will be frost in the morning.
Tonight will start off mainly fine but there will be increased high cloud at intervals. Temperatures will fall to 7 C inland, around 11 C on the west coast, around 10 C on the remaining coast and around 1 C in the mountains. There will be frost in the mountains and hilly areas.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, there will be increased cloud which may lead to local scattered showers and light snowfall in the higher Troodos peaks. Thursday will be mainly cloudy, with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms as well as light snowfall in the higher Troodos peaks, mainly after midday.
Temperatures will edge down gradually until Thursday to close or slightly below average for the time of year.
The depth of snow in Troodos Square at the time of issue of the weather bulletin on Monday morning is 84 cm.

Police said that work to replace antiquated traffic equipment is continuing in junctions in the Nicosia district and this week work will be carried out at:
Larnaca Avenue/ Byron Street (Nicosia municipality); Â Ayios Georgios/ Makarios Avenue (Lakatamia Avenue), Athalassa Avenue/ Pireus/Korai (Strovolos Municipality) and Solomou Square/ K Pantelides Street (Nicosia Municipality).
No problems have been reported elsewhere however roads in mountains are slippery and drivers are urged to be particularly careful.
