Scattered showers as unstable weather continues

Friday will start off partly cloudy, becoming mainly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms that will be accompanied by hail.

Temperatures will be 20 C inland and on the coast and 9 C in the mountains.

Tonight will be mainly fine with increased cloud locally. Temperatures will fall to 10 C and on the coasts and 3 C in the mountains.

Saturday will be partly cloudy and at intervals mainly cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Thunderstorms are expected to be accompanied by hail.

On Sunday clouds that will develop from midday on may lead to scattered showers or thunderstorms, mainly in the mountains.

Monday will be mainly fine, while clouds that develop from midday may lead to isolated showers.

Temperatures will remain unchanged through the weekend, edging up on Monday but remaining below average for the time of year.
