A 47 year old Bulgarian was killed around 3 pm on Friday on Paralimni Avenue in Protaras after the car he was driving was involved in a collision with a car driven by a British woman.
The woman sustained injuries and was taken to Famagusta Hospital where her condition is described as serious but out of danger.
Both are permanent residents of Cyprus.
