Restaurant opens, two bday parties in Limassol

As Limassol continues to face issues with its high covid positivity rates, authorities charged a restaurant owner yesterday for opening his business, in violation of relevant protocols.

The restaurant opened in the Moni community, with three customers being fined three hundred euro each and the owner getting a 750 euro ticket.

Two birthday parties also took place at homes in the Limassol district.

In Mouttayiaka, nine people were found in the house, including five children. The four adults were fined.

In the second home, eight adults were found celebrating a birthday. They were fined three hundred euro each.
