The President of the Republic, Mr Nicos Anastasiades, departed today for Brussels, where he will participate in the deliberations of the European Council on 23 and 24 June, 2022.
The agenda of the European Council includes the Ukraine issue, economic issues and the Conference on the Future of Europe.
On the sidelines of the European Council, President Anastasiades will have the opportunity to meet with European heads of state or government to discuss issues of common interest, as well as to inform them about the latest developments in the Cyprus problem and the new provocations and threats by Turkey.
The President of the Republic is accompanied by the Government Spokesman, Mr Marios Pelekanos and the Deputy Minister to the President, Mr Kyriakos Koushos.
