Police on Monday launched an all island seat belt and child seat campaign as part of efforts to stem the bloodshed on the roads.
It said that special attention will be paid to the use of seat belts in back seats, where use is very low, as well as the use of child seats.
“The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness among drivers and passengers so that they put on their seat belts on getting into a car,” it said.
