Police fined 192 citizens and 2 establishments all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violation of measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Force had carried out a total of 9,814 inspections, according to the CNA.
In Nicosia out of 1,491 inspections 45 citizens were fined, and in Limassol 2,720 checks led to 72 citizens getting a fine.
In Larnaca, 1,571 inspections led to 14 people getting fined, while out 1,085 checks in Paphos 28 individuals and two establishments were fined.
In Famagusta, a total of 1,216 checks led to 17 people getting fined and in Morphou three citizens were boked after 956 checks.
