Police booked 208 individuals all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for breach of measures aiming to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
The Force had carried out a total of 10,714 inspections, according to the CNA.
In Nicosia, out of 1,671 checks 38 citizens were fined.
In Limassol, out of 3,901 checks 76 citizens were fined.
In Larnaca, out of 1,467 checks 30 citizens were booked.
In Paphos, out of 1,250 checks 22 citizens were fined.
In Famagusta, out of 1,095 checks 22 citizens were fined.
In Morphou, out of 670 checks three citizens were booked.
Moreover, the Port and Marine Police carried out 51 checks ad issued no fines.
