Police fined 124 individuals and three shop owners all across Cyprus over the past 24 hours for violating restrictive measures against the spread of the coronavirus.
Coastal Limassol had the higher number of fines out of a total of 8,186 inspections.
In Nicosia, out of 1,377 inspections 15 individuals were fined, and out of 1,506 checks in Limassol 47 individuals were booked.
In Larnaca, out of 1,365 checks 23 individuals were booked, and in Pafos 21 individuals and three shop owners were fined out of 1,242 checks.
Out of 1,470 checks in Famagusta 18 individuals were booked and no fines were issued inn Morphou out of 712 checks.
Moreover, Marine and Port Police carried out 52 checks with no fines issued.
