Police caught 236 people driving drunk and 1,063 speeding between February 8-11, it reported on Monday.
According to the report, 2,392 drivers were stopped to undergo an alco-test in the past three days and 236 were found to have been driving over the limit.
Traffic police was called to help members of the public in 64 cases during the past three days, the report said.
New speeding campaign
A new speeding campaign started on Monday. Based on statistics for the years between 2013 and 2017, police said, speeding is the third major cause of fatal road accidents.
