A 61 year old permanent resident of Paphos is in intensive care after he was hit by a car while trying to cross Danai Avenue in Kato Paphos a little after midnight on Wednesday.
He was taken to Paphos Hospital where he is reported to be in critical condition.
The 32 year old driver of the car, a Greek permanent resident of Paphos, tested negative for alcohol. He has been arrested to assist police inquiries.
