Paphos police have booked a total of 47 drivers after a campaign yesterday in the town and on the secondary road network.
They said that they had checked 120 vehicles from 7 am to 6 pm on Friday, and booked 47 driving offences.
According to the breakdown, 16 drivers were booked for drunk driving, 15 for speeding, one for driving under the influence of drugs, three for driving without a licence, two for not wearing a seat belt, one for changing the car’s bodywork and one for illegal overtaking.
