Traffic police in Paphos booked 39 drivers for a range of traffic offences in two campaigns in town and in the district’s secondary road network from 7 am on Monday to 1 am on Tuesday.
During a campaign in town carried out between 7 am and 6 pm, 35 drivers were booked as follows: one for reckless driving, 20 for speeding, three for parking in a spot reserved for the disabled, 10 for not complying with a traffic sign and one for not wearing a seat belt.
The other four drivers were booked during 6 pm on Monday and 1 am on Tuesday on the secondary road network. A total of 17 cars were checked and four were booked.
