Members of the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) participating in the PACE Campaign to End Immigration Detention of Children will have a series of contacts with Ministers, parliamentarians and other officials in Cyprus.

According to an announcement by the House of Representatives, the aim of the one-day visit on Friday, June 14, is to collect information on how authorities deal with immigrant minors and the process they follow during their arrival and stay in host countries, including Cyprus.

The PACE delegation will also have separate meetings with the Minister of Interior Constantinos Petrides, the Minister of Justice and Public Order George Savvides, and will also attend a working lunch with Stella Kyriakides, the President of the Cyprus House Committee on Human Rights Committee and on Equal Opportunities for Men and Women and members of the Commmittee.
