The Cyprus Electricity Authority announced on Thursday that it will not be cutting power to households with outstanding payments during the festive period.
This grace period is from December 21 to January 11.
Households who have already had their power cut can submit a reactivation request for that period at any Electricity Authority customer service branch.
The measure does not include those who have been charged with stealing power, the announcement says.
