Officers of the Department of Fisheries and Marine Research were yesterday informed about a dead Mediterranean monk seal monachus monachus in Limassol. The seal was found dead at the Moni cement plant from where they collected it.
Currently the results of the autopsy are expected since no external injuries have been found and the seal seems to be two-three years old.
