A moderate magnitude-4.7 earthquake occurred near Paphos at around 10 in the evening on Tuesday. No damages were reported.
The epicenter was about 2 km south-southwest of Paphos.
The tremor occurred at a depth of about 10 km, and light shaking was felt in parts of Cyprus, particularly in coastal Limassol which is near the epicenter.
