A 36 year old man missing from his home in Nicosia since Saturday has been found in Mesa Yitonia, Limassol and is in good health.
Volunteers from Reaction had on Tuesday morning joined police in the search for Stelios Georgiou after his car was found near Moni on Monday evening.
He had been spotted in Yermasoyia around 5 pm yesterday, buying a bottle of water.
In an announcement police said the missing man was found a little before 5 pm after they were alerted by a member of the public of a person fitting his description.
He was taken by ambulance to Limassol Hospital for precautionary reasons and his family was informed.
Police said they had mounted a huge operation to find the man, particularly in Nicosia and Limassol district that included the use of a police helicopter and thanked all those who participated as well as the public for the information they gave.
