A 47-year-old father of three from Famagusta district on Thursday morning passed away days only after getting infected with Covid-19.
Health authorities said the man had tried hard to stay alive and noted that coronavirus kills young and old alike.
Calls for vaccination are ongoing as Cyprus is almost certain it will give imminently the green light for a third booster shot.
