Tonight will be mainly fine with increased cloud coverage in some areas, with temperatures dropping to 4 C inland and on the North coast, 6 C on the South, West and East coasts and -3 C in the mountains. Frost will likely form in the mountains and locally in the lower mountain areas.
Snow depth in Troodos square was measured this morning at 1 cm.
On Thursday morning we will see isolated showers and / or thunderstorms in the east and north, and after noon local showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected with the likelihood of snow or sleet in the Troodos highest mountains.
On Friday local showers or thunderstorms are expected in the mountains, while on Saturday rain will continue locally especially in the east but the weather will improve in the afternoon.
Temperatures will edge slightly down in Thursday, mainly inland, in the mountains and the south coast but will gradually edge up on Friday and Saturday to remain marginally below average for the time of year.
