Police have tracked down and arrested a man who injured a policeman with a pair of scissors in Limassol last night, philenews reports.
It said the man was arrested on Tuesday.
The incident occurred during a police campaign against prostitution.
Police officers spotted two men near a hotel and approached them, but one of them injured the policeman with a pair of scissors and fled. The second man was arrested.
The policeman’s injuries are minor.
