Limassol lifeguards on Saturday rescued four people who were pulled out to sea by big waves because of strong winds.
They include a three year old girl and her mother from Lebanon with lifeguards having to swim 70 metres out to sea to bring them both back to shore safely.
The second incident involved a young Russian couple who were carried by the waves to 150 metres from the shore.
