A 19 year old man is in critical condition with head injuries after he was involved in a road collision in Trachoni at around 9.15 pm on Thursday night.
Police said that the young man was driving in Trachoni when under conditions which are being investigated it went off course and collided head-on with a car driven by a 21 year old man. In the second car was a 16 year old girl.
The 19 year old, who is serving in the National Guard, was thrown out of the car.
All three were taken to Limassol Hospital where the driver and passenger of the second car were given first aid and released while the 19 year old was found to have sustained head injuries and was transferred to Nicosia Hospital.
Police inquiries continue.
