Larnaca police are investigating a complaint by a 25 year old Indian man that he was robbed of 1500 euro by four people who thenĀ abducted him and tied him to a chair from which he was able to free himself.
The complaint was filed by the 25 year old early on Monday morning. He told police that around 3 pm on Sunday as he was standing outside a mini-market he had been forced into a car by four other Indians who stole 1500 euro and then took him to aĀ farm in Zygi where he was tied to a chair.
But he managed to free himself, go to the street and flag down a passing vehicle which took him to Larnaca police station.
He was then taken to Larnaca Hospital’s emergency and accident unit as he had bruises to the face and other parts of his body.
