A kiosk owner was robbed at knife point early on Wednesday morning, with the perpetrators – a man and a woman — making off with €480.
Police said that a 59 year old owner of a kiosk in the Larnaca district had filed a complaint with police that two individuals with covered faces had entered the kiosk at 4.15 am.
One of them drew a knife and immobilised the kiosk owner while the second opened the till and took €480.
The two then fled.
Police said one of the robbers was wearing black clothes and had his face covered with a hood and scarf. The second was a woman. She too had her face covered with a hood and as scarf.
Larnaca police are investigating.
