A large-scale development project is in the pipeline in Limassol’s Agia Fyla area with a total cost of €856 million and envisioning world-class educational facilities and a leading business park infrastructure.

And that a detailed environmental impact assessment study (EIA) became subject to public consultation by the Department of Environment since Thursday.
The whole project covers a land area of 949,916 m2 and includes uses with a total buildable area of 350,785 m2.
The proposed infrastructure aims to create a successful innovation environment, all integrated into a unified and integrated residential development surrounded by green parks and supporting social and recreational infrastructure.
Specifically, the project provides for a private school, – a medical institution – a European branded rehabilitation centre supporting a range of assisted living facilities and a research and innovation centre.
This includes a business park, sports facilities, an organised multi-activity sports centre, a private green space of the business park, a unified and organised residential development containing basic retail and leisure infrastructure.
