A labour accident at Spilia village, Nicosia district, has left one person seriously injured, police said on Thursday.
The accident took place early on Wednesday after the labourer fell off from a height of three meters while performing construction work on a retaining wall.
Police and Fire Brigade members of rural Evrychou station promptly rushed to the scene of the accident.
