A small boat with irregular migrants including children are on their way back to Lebanon – the country of origin – after they were intercepted on Sunday afternoon off Cape Greco, Famagusta area.
Police also said on Monday that the boat with around 50 people was spotted 16 nautical miles off Cape Greco.
Police vessels with nurses and translators had gone to the area the boat was located and checked the migrants’ documents before they received instructions on what to do.
