After incidents in the villages of Paphos district Chloraka and Emba, incidents among foreigners are now seen in Tremithousa. According to Michalis Nicolaou, spokesman of the Paphos Police, on Wednesday evening they received information that there was a person injured on the street of the said community. A Police car went to the scene where the policemen saw a 43-year-old man injured.
The man said he had been there with some friends, when two compatriots of him accompanied by a third person attacked and beat him.
Following Police investigations, it was ascertained that the Syrians involved in the fight had financial differences, with the injured man owing 1,000 years to one of the men who beat him.
Police investigations continue while arrest warrants have been issued against the three assailants.
