In a new twist, a horse-riding club owner on Monday admitted before Nicosia Assize Court some of the alleged sexual abuse of charges against him, Philenews reports.
The accused reportedly admitted abusing two minors but refused the charge against him by a third minor along with that by an adult foreigner who was employed at the club.
The Assize court has remanded in custody the club owner because of the seriousness of the charged against him.
The minor for whom the accused denies the sexual abuse charge is the one who actually made the initial police report.
Monday’s court proceedings were carried out behind closed doors and the first hearing of the case will take place early next year.
