A hologram of Goddess Aphrodite welcomes the visitors at the Cyprus pavilion in EXPO2020 Dubai and special sensor devices will spray the air with local smells like jasmine and oregano, a press release by the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation & Digital Policy.
EXPO2020 Dubai’s theme isĀ āConnecting Minds, Creating the Futureā with the aim to set up a global platform for agreements and international cooperation. More than 25 mln visitors are expected to visit the Expo, where 192 countries are taking part.
Cyprus’ kiosk is located at “Opportunity” spot and is set up having in mind 6 thematic sectors on art and culture, tourism, gastronomy, entrepreneurship, investment and education, presented in 6 booths. Cyprus slogan is “Cyprus, at the center of where you want to be.”
Various audio and visual aids and digital multimedia are used to enhance the visitor`s experience and bring him/her closer to the island via a digital journey.
