Glamping in Cyprus could get parliament’s green light by year’s end

Relevant News

Amended legislation to make space for glamping in Cyprus could get the green light by the House plenum before the body shuts down in view of February’s presidential elections.

This is what Philenews reported on Wednesday, adding that the fresh proposal provides for a more environmentally-friendly glamping space.

The proposal was rejected by the plenum back in June and has been re-submitted taking into account the environmental concerns raised at the time.

The new bill for glamping-type camps includes provisions for the protection of the environment, the installation of plumbing and sewage systems and photovoltaics.

The new bill was reviewed on Tuesday by the House Energy, Trade and Tourism  committee which is expected to decide within a week whether it will be put to the vote on December 2.

Luxury glamping offers the thrill of a camping adventure in the wildernes but without compromising on comfort.
