The Forestry Service has issued a fire hazard warning, as winds are expected to reach force six in the afternoon.
The Service is calling on the public to exercise care and avoid any actions or activities that might lead to fires breaking out.
It further warns that due to strong winds, any firefighting effort will be extremely difficult.
