Another five people have tested positive for Covid-19 in the Turkish-held north.
This brings the total there to 69.
Earlier, authorities in the north said they were extending the mandatory self-isolation of those who had returned from abroad from 14 to 21 days.
According to press reports, up until yesterday the breakdown of coronavirus cases in the north was: Nicosia area 9; Karpasia and Trikomo 13, Lapithos 1, Pergamos 3, Kyrenia 2 and Famagusta area 3.
The Karpasia area is under quarantine but arrangements have been made for supermarkets, grocers, pharmacies and animal feed stores to open in the morning.
