The Health Ministry reported on Tuesday five deaths from COVID, 2,200 new cases and 257 hospitalisations.
Total deaths rose to 689, total cases are now 230,856 and the positivity rate stands at 2.1%.
A total of 104,965 tests were carried out today (rapid and PCR).
Of the 689 deaths 434 are male (63%) and 255 female (37%) and the median age is 76.1 years.
The Ministry said that 89 patients are in serious condition or in an ACU of whom 38 are intubated, four are in ICU and 47 in ACUs.
