A coronavirus patient at Limassol hospital is reported to be in critical condition and has been placed on a respirator.
According to the State Health Services spokesman Charalambos Harilaou, three people suffering from the virus are being treated on the hospitals’ 5th floor, with one on a ventilator.
Five people who are undergoing tests for the virus are also being treated, one of them in critical condition.
Two people died at the hospital yesterday, a 76 year old woman with an underlying medical condition and a 47 year old man, who had no history of serious illness.
