Kalo Chorio Limassol has announced a series of measures after a resident tested positive for the coronavirus.
In a post on social media, the community council urged all residents and visitors to restrict their movement within the community to the absolute minimum and to strictly adhere to hygiene rules announced by the Health Ministry.
It also called on everyone to avoid contact with the elderly and vulnerable groups of the population and to immediately contact the call centres on 1420 or 1450 if they develop any symptoms.
The coffee shops and restaurants in the community will remain closed until further notice while the community council is taking all necessary steps to sanitise all the public areas in the community.
Finally, the community council called all the public to show consideration.
