A British woman who left an unpaid hotel bill of €1420 last year, was arrested on her return to Cyprus and will stand trial on March 17, philenews reports.
It said the woman had holidayed at a five star Paphos Hotel but never paid the bill.
However, her personal details were entered into the database and she was nabbed at Larnaca Airport on arrival last night. She was arrested and handed over to Paphos police to spend the night in the police cell.
On Thursday she appeared before the court and charged. The court set the date of the trial for March 17 and released the woman on bail.
