A British soldier was killed when he was struck by a taxi in the Akrotiri area at around 2am on Tuesday morning.
The 30-year-old soldier was walking on the road between Asomatos and Akrotiri when he was hit by a passing-by taxi driven by a 60-year-old Cypriot who was taken under custody by SBA police.
