The capital’s CID is at initial stages of investigation, after an explosive device went off in the early hours, outside a private residence in the Nicosia suburb of Engomi.
The high powered device was placed near the entrance, causing extensive damage.
Authorities have cordoned off the scene and are in the process of data gathering and witness canvassing in the area.
