Police arrested a former bank employee to facilitate investigations into a case of embezzlement of €185,000.
The suspect, a 31 year old, is believed to have taken the money from clients’ accounts between 2017-2018, while he was working in a Limassol branch. According to philenews, he has been fired from his job.
He will be led to court tomorrow.
Police are continuing investigations.
