Archbishop Chrysostomos’ operation on Thursday to treat a fractured bone in the upper right arm was carried out successfully at Aretaion Hospital in Nicosia.
This is what an announcement by the Archbishopric said on Friday, adding that the island’s top cleric was in good health and expected to exit the hospital in the following days.
Dr Nicos Papalouka and Dr Sergios Sergiou had carried out the operation.
No further details were disclosed.
