The Labour Ministry has announced that a technical problem which had led to the temporary suspension to online applications for three special scheme has been resolved and that applications can now be submitted.
Applications for three schemes – special allowance for child care, special sick leave and special allowance for the self-employed for April 13 to May 12 are posted on the website www.coronavirus.mlsi.gov.cy.
Those who qualify must complete a new application online for the new period.
The ministry said that if the special child care and special sick leave allowances cover separate periods, applicants must submit a different application for each period.
The ministry has said that applications for the special allowance for employees under the partial suspension or complete suspension of operations schemes are expected to go online today. Also to go online are applications for a special one off unemployment benefit.
