Animal Party Cyprus will raise the issue of the poisoning of animals with the chief of police at their meeting next month.
In an announcement following a poison alert issued by the community council of Kathikas, it said that this will be top of the list of issues to be discussed with the chief of police on November 7.
It slammed the criminal acts, saying that often the poisoning of defenceless animals was used to settle personal scores.
It urged members of the public to report any information or even suspicions to police, animal welfare groups or the veterinary services,
